Addiction Treatment Options

Introduction To Outpatient Rehab

An outpatient program is our least intensive form of addiction treatment. Like our other treatment programs, this option does not require an overnight stay at our treatment center. It requires less time in therapy each week, but it also requires a certain level of accountability for our clients. Our outpatient treatment programs offer a flexible option for individuals who have been in treatment for longer periods of time. However, though it is less intensive, it can provide a range of benefits for you and your loved ones.

At Silicon Beach Treatment Center, we are committed to providing expert-level care for each client who comes through our doors. We offer holistic and evidence-based therapeutic options which we tailor to the individual challenges of the client, rather than using a cookie-cutter approach. This treatment provides a time-tested way to combat your unique challenges and triumph over your addiction. How Do I Know If Outpatient Treatment Is Right for Me?

Deciding whether outpatient treatment is right for you depends on a variety of factors, including the severity of your symptoms, the amount of support you need, and your personal preferences. Here are some factors to consider when deciding if outpatient treatment is the right choice for you:

  • Severity of symptoms – Outpatient treatment may be a good option if you have mild to moderate mental health symptoms that can be managed with therapy and other non-intensive interventions. If you have severe symptoms that require more intensive care, such as 24-hour monitoring, you may need to consider inpatient treatment.
  • Need for support – Outpatient treatment can provide support from mental health professionals while allowing you to maintain your daily routine and responsibilities. However, if you need more structure or support, an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) or Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) may be a better fit.
  • Availability and accessibility of treatment – Outpatient treatment may be more accessible and convenient if you live near a mental health clinic or provider who offers outpatient services. If you live in a rural area or have limited transportation, inpatient or intensive outpatient treatment may be more challenging to access.

Partial Hospitalization

The partial hospitalization program at our addiction treatment center is available to participants on a daily basis, Monday through Friday. The structured one-on-one therapy sessions are between you and one of our experienced counselors. This program includes some time spent in the community under staff supervision.

Intensive Outpatient

The intensive outpatient program (IOP) is the treatment level that the partial hospitalization program builds upon. Participants attend three days per week for five hours per day. The amount of time spent in therapy sessions is reduced, but individual support is still available if needed.

IOPs typically involve a combination of individual therapy, group therapy, and other evidence-based treatments, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

IOPs usually require individuals to attend treatment sessions at a mental health facility for several hours per day, several days per week, for a period of several weeks to several months. This level of intensity allows for more support and treatment than traditional outpatient therapy, while still allowing individuals to maintain their daily routines and responsibilities.

IOPs are typically recommended for individuals who are experiencing moderate to severe mental health symptoms but do not require 24-hour care in a hospital setting. IOPs can be a helpful treatment option for a variety of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders, among others.

Outpatient

For those participants who are ready to move back into society but still require support in their recovery, the outpatient program might be for you. Participants of this level of care attend one day per week for five hours per day.

What Else We Offer

What Do Our Outpatient Treatment Programs Involve?

Outpatient, or OP, is our final treatment track. Clients participate in three therapy sessions per week and one individual therapy session. Our therapeutic options are extensive and include treatment programs such as:

In addition to participating in the program, clients are expected to work and formulate a proper discharge plan with their case manager. Weekly meetings with our medical director are strongly encouraged.

Ideally, we recommend against using our outpatient treatment programs as the first step in your treatment. The addiction is too severe to manage successfully through outpatient treatment as the first option in many cases. In that case, we may recommend that you enroll in our partial hospitalization program or intensive outpatient treatment in Los Angeles options first.

Change Your Life.

We understand that it can be overwhelming to make the decision to get help for substance abuse. The caring team at Silicon Beach Treatment Center is standing by ready to help you begin your journey.

Silicon is a great program.

Silicon Beach Tx is full of bright staff in a world that feels very dark and isolating. I think if you’re struggling with substance use, it is the best place to go. If you are struggling with mental illness, lower your severity of symptoms at a residential before coming so they can help you as best as possible.

Combining Sober Living

In many cases, our clients may not have a stable home to return to after they finish treatment. Your loved ones may not fully support your desire to break free from drugs or alcohol. Alternatively, while they may support your decision to overcome drug or alcohol addiction, they may also be using drugs or alcohol and refuse to quit. In such cases, returning to that environment night after night may cause you to return to using substances. As a result, the hard work that you put into your recovery may have been for nothing, which is certainly not the ideal scenario.

Instead of returning to such an unhealthy environment, the best-case plan is to enroll in one of our sober living homes. We offer five sober living communities, which are as follows:

Through sober living homes, you have structure and accountability at your side. You will have the opportunity to live in a community with other people in recovery. In addition, you will have regular check-ins with the home manager, and you must adhere to certain rules, all of which are set up to encourage your recovery. By combining our sober living communities with outpatient addiction treatment in Southern California, you give yourself the best chance for long-term recovery.

Evidence-Based Outpatient Rehab in Southern California

Let us help you begin a life that is infused with recovery. With the help of our addiction treatment programs, you can begin the healing process. We also offer a range of additional treatment programs that you can use before enrolling in our outpatient treatment programs, such as:

Partial hospitalization program

  • Through this treatment option, you can participate in treatment sessions during the day and return to your home at night. This treatment can be highly beneficial for those who have supportive family members at home and responsibilities that they must maintain during the week.

Intensive outpatient program

An intensive outpatient program is a treatment option that we use to address mild alcohol addiction, drug addiction, and ongoing mental health concerns that do not require around-the-clock care. This treatment program enables our clients to continue going through their day-to-day routine while also providing the best possible care.

Case management

The goal of this program is to prepare the patient for life after treatment so they can continue living sober at home or at school without relapse. The case management program places high value on family involvement as well as employer support so patients leave feeling fully ready to take part in their home and/or school environments without further help from us.

Family program

The point of family therapy is to help families improve their communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen their relationships. Family therapy is a type of psychotherapy that involves working with the family as a unit to identify and address issues that may be impacting the family's overall functioning and well-being.

Crisis intervention program

When an individual seeks help from a licensed professional at our crisis center or during a psychiatric hospitalization, they pave the way for a stronger and more stable future. An individual can learn new skills and tools to cope with stressors in their everyday life. In addition, they will experience an increased sense of well-being and ability to manage stress.
