Our Drug Rehab

Does Drug Rehab Really Work?

The goal of any substance abuse treatment program is to help someone struggling with addiction to achieve lasting sobriety, to help them become productive and contributing members of their communities. According to data, individuals who enroll in and complete clinical drug addiction treatment programs are often successful in maintaining their sobriety. However, it's important to make a distinction here: Drug rehab isn't a cure for addiction.

Drug rehabs are most effective when patients choose a program that best fits their needs, preferences, and background. For example, some people thrive in outpatient care while others require the higher-intensity care offered in an inpatient program. Similarly, some people prefer a religious or spiritual program, like Christian drug treatment or twelve step-based treatment programs, while others gravitate toward secular programs that don't have a significant focus on religion.

You may have heard the expression that what you get out of something is equal to what you put into it. This is often said in reference to studying in school or learning a new skill, but it also applies to recovery. Because a drug rehab won't (re: can't) help someone who's not willing to give the program as much effort as they can.

What Makes Our LA Drug Rehab Different?

Silicon Beach Treatment Center isn't like every other drug rehab you've seen or heard about. In fact, there are a number of things about us that really set us apart.

Our Team
Silicon Beach Treatment Center was created by Founder and President Joseph Grossman who had accrued over ten years of firsthand experience in the fields of mental health and substance abuse treatment. Then there's our Chief Marketing Officer, Adam Snyder, who also had a background in addiction treatment and recovery. With their combined expertise, Joseph and Adam have built a recovery center focused on providing client-centered care and support. In fact, every member of the Silicon Beach team brings passion, experience, and dedication to our cause.

Our Approach
Each of our programs has been carefully and thoughtfully constructed to ensure that our clients gain all the tools and knowledge they need to achieve lasting, stable recovery. Whether enrolled in our Partial Hospitalization Program or the Intensive Outpatient Program, clients of Silicon Beach Treatment Center attend psychotherapy sessions with a licensed addictions counselor to uncover the root cause(s) of their addictions. With a better understanding of themselves and this disease, clients demonstrate incredible personal growth and become increasingly confident in their newfound sobriety.

Our Sober Living Program is the other side of the care we provide. Often utilized simultaneously with our outpatient programs, Silicon Beach Sober Living provides clients with a much-needed respite while they adjust to sobriety. We offer three different sober living homes so that we can accommodate any client's needs and preferences.

Our Commitment
Whether because of our own backgrounds or of loved ones, we understand what it's like to be beholden to chemical dependence. Addiction is a disease that completely alters a person's psychology, causing them to behave in ways they normally wouldn't. At Silicon Beach Treatment Center, our mission is to help these individuals earn back their health, happiness, and independence.

What Programs Do We Offer?

At Silicon Beach Treatment Center, we recognize that drug rehab isn't a one-size-fits-all endeavor. In fact, while one individual may experience great success from a particular type of program, someone else might not get what he or she needs from that program and, instead, could have a better experience in an entirely different type of program.

Fortunately, we offer several different programs, or levels of care, to accommodate a broad range of needs and preferences.

Partial Hospitalization Program

For clients looking for an outpatient-style program with a more intensive curriculum, there's our Partial Hospitalization Program.

The Silicon Beach Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) provides clients with up to five hours of therapy per day, up to five days per week.

Outpatient Program

While in the Silicon Beach Outpatient Program, clients prepare for the post-treatment maintenance phase of recovery.

There's a lot of flexibility in our Outpatient Program; however, most clients can expect three to four therapy sessions per week.

Intensive Outpatient Program

The Silicon Beach Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a mid-level outpatient program in terms of treatment intensity.

For clients in our IOP, there's up to three hours of treatment and therapy per day, between three and five days per week.

Sober Living Program

The Sober Living Program at Silicon Beach Treatment Center helps clients to prepare for the post-treatment maintenance phase of recovery by providing a clean, safe, drug-free environment in which to practice applying the tools and knowledge acquired while completing a drug rehab program.

Our Sober Living Program is often used simultaneously with our PHP, IOP, and Outpatient Program.

How to Get Started at Silicon Beach Treatment Center

If you're wondering how you or your loved one can get started in one of our drug rehab programs, then the answer is quite simple.

First, you should request an insurance verification. With just some basic information, we'll be able to work with your health coverage provider to determine what types of treatment your health plan covers and whether there are limits to that coverage.

The next step is to schedule a consultation with one of our intake coordinators. This is a chance for us to get to know you and learn about your background.

1: Insurance verification
2: Consultation
3: Create a treatment plan
4: Intake

After we've gotten to know you a bit, you'll be ready for the third step, which is to work with the intake coordinator to create a treatment plan. This is a tentative action plan for your recovery, focusing on the program(s), forms of treatment, and even the accommodations you'll need while at Silicon Beach Treatment Center.

Finally, you're ready for intake. This is the process of enrolling in your drug rehab program and getting ready to begin treatment.

To learn more about our programs or processes, or if you have any questions that haven't been answered here, we welcome you to send us an email or give us a call at your convenience. We're available anytime, day or night.
